Presentation design, document formatting, Canva graphics, image cleanup, and podcast editing involve long periods of focused production.
Website Support
Content uploads, broken-link checks, product listing updates, and basic site maintenance can often be completed asynchronously.
Digital Products
Templates, trackers, checklists, printables, and short guides can be created privately and sold through a marketplace or website. Product businesses still require customer service, but it can often be handled in writing.
Choose Clients That Work Asynchronously
Ask how the client communicates, how often meetings occur, and whether urgent calls are expected. A good project with poor communication expectations may still be a bad fit.
Create Boundaries Before the Project Starts
State your response hours, preferred communication channel, turnaround time, and revision process. Clear boundaries reduce surprise calls and constant messages.
Start With One Small Offer
A focused offer such as “I will proofread a 1,500-word blog post” is easier to sell than “I can help with anything.” The smaller scope also reduces uncertainty for you and the client.
